The Empathy Space
The Different Modalities Of Therapy
Person-Centred Therapy
Person-centred therapy is a warm approach, offering a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore yourself and your inner world.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Helps you identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, replacing them with more helpful and functional ways of thinking.
Mindfullness-Based Therapy
Uses mindfulness practices to help you stay present, reduce stress and manage difficult emotions and thoughts.
Humanistic Therapy
Emphasises your potential for self-growth, personal development and self-understanding, supporting authenticity and meaningful change.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Looks at how your past experiences and unconscious patterns influence your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Integrative Therapy
Combines different therapeutic approaches to tailor therapy to your individual needs and goals.
Gestalt Therapy
Encourages awareness and the present moment, helping you understand how you relate to yourself and others.
Art Therapy
Uses creative expression to explore emotions, experiences and personal meaning through artistic practices.
Solution-Focused Therapy
Focuses on your strengths and possibilities, helping you create practical steps towards positive change.
Trauma-Informed Therapy
Recognises the impact of trauma on your life and focuses on creating a safe, supportive and empowering therapeutic environment.
Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT)
REBT focuses mainly on the present and helps someone understand how their perceptions of a situation can cause emotional distress, leading to unhealthy actions and behaviors that interfere with their life goals.
Parts Therapy (PT)
The therapy aims to help these parts communicate, collaborate, and integrate under the guidance of the individual's core Self, fostering self-awareness, self-compassion, and emotional balance.
Narrative Therapy (NT)
Narrative therapy is a psychotherapeutic approach that helps clients explore, challenge, and reshape the life stories that fuel their struggles, working collaboratively with a therapist. Through this process, a person build a deeper understanding of their values and skills, helping them face present and future challenges
Neurolinguistic programming (NLP)
NLP is based on the idea that people experience the world subjectively, creating internal representations of their experiences through the five senses and language. NLP practitioners believe that by understanding and manipulating these sensory-based representations, behavior can be changed.
Transactional Analysis (TA)
TA explores unconscious life plans formed in childhood that influence adult choices, helping individuals identify and change patterns that limit growth.
The goal of TA therapy is to help individuals rewrite their life script, replacing destructive or limiting patterns with healthier, more cooperative behaviors.
A Space to Understand Yourself
Sometimes, we know that something needs to change but don't know where to begin. Counselling can help you slow down, identify what may be holding you back and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.
Rather than simply focusing on the problem, our counselling approach looks at the bigger picture — your experiences, thoughts, emotions, relationships, values and aspirations.
